At Hartwig Care we offer a variety of services to help you live your life the way you want. From when you get up in the morning to when you go to bed, Hartwig Care will be there for you.

Hartwig Care provides a full range of domiciliary care services to support those with both basic and more complex needs including; Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Neurological Conditions and End-of-Life.

We pride ourselves on having a team of Care Workers and office staff that is knowledgeable, reliable and committed, all of whom go the extra mile to provide the services that our Clients require.

Our office staff have a combined experience of over 200 years hands on care experience that has allowed us to build a service that reflects our fundamental belief that Clients should be in control of their own care allowing them to receive a truly personalised service in their own homes.

Not a lot of people realise that our Care Worker visits are just a small portion of the time that we invest in our Clients. For every hour visit there is over 2 hours of office time to ensure that the visit runs smoothly.

We match every Client with the care team that will best suit their needs. Each Client has a dedicated Care Manager who not only oversees the care package every step of the way to ensure things run smoothly, they act as a point of contact so we are accessible and they can always talk confidently to someone familiar.

Our Care Teams are structured to ensure our service runs seamlessly.  We operate a fixed ‘care team to Client ratio’ to guarantee we are able to continuously tailor, review and adapt care plans. Our office is open 365 days a year from 7am-10 pm. Outside of these hours we operate a Virtual Care Centre and a Care Manager is on call.

Hartwig Care uses the latest technology to monitor the delivery of the service we provide in real-time.

Our system lets us record precise arrival and departure times of our care Workers. This enables us to offer a consistent level of service ensuring Client safety, visibility and punctuality.

When pairing Clients to Care Workers our homecare roster uses an optimisation algorithm that makes matches based on Care Worker competencies and the Client’s needs.

We make sure our service is transparent allowing both the Client and their network to stay up to date with the care we are providing through their home files and updates sent back to our system by our Care Workers.

Controlling our Care Workers’ training means we control the quality of care they give. Most of our training is held onsite. Not only are our staff trained to deal with specialised care needs such as Dementia, they are also given practical training such as moving and handling and dealing with specific cultural and religious needs.

Our training plan has grown into what it is today by combining our experience and nationally collected expertise of organisations such as Skills for Care, UKHCA and SCIE. Our programme is so strong we have been accredited by Investors In People for our dedication to our staff.

We continue to invest in building outstanding courses which not only meet our Clients’ needs but equip our Care Workers with the tools and knowledge to confidently carry out their work.
